Level 3 Communications (News - Alert), Inc., a company offering local, national and global communications services to enterprise, government and carrier customers, has recently won the "2012 Latin America Growth Leadership Award in Data Communications (News - Alert) Services."
The company has bagged this new award from Frost & Sullivan for capturing the highest annual compound growth rate for the past three years. In addition, the company has also added new offerings to its portfolio to keep up with its customers demand for video streaming, and also virtual services with new hosting, storage, and increased backup to help customers grow in the region and internationally.
"This recognition was a result of our growth in the Latin America region, driven by our data communications services, including Internet Protocol (IP) and Data services, among others," said Leonardo Barbero, Level 3's chief marketing officer and senior vice president for Latin America. "This growth was also thanks to our high-capacity connections, along with our network management services and value-added services that enhance the performance of our solutions. The award underscores our focus on a positive customer experience."
Level 3 currently serves customers in more than 450 markets in 45 countries over a global services platform and its offering includes secure, managed solutions, infrastructure solutions; IP-based voice and data communications; wide-area Ethernet services; video and content distribution; data center and cloud-based solutions.
The company recently inaugurated new advanced data center facility space in Hayes, West London. This center was built to accommodate customer’s request who were planning to increase their global operations using Level 3's international network footprint and service portfolio.
