Nexogy, Sling Partnership Gives a Fillip to ISP Offerings

What will you get when one of the nation's largest Internet service providers partners with a complete Internet telephony service provider? You said it – a state-of-the-art communications technology that is cost-effective, reliable and feature rich.

And that’s exactly what the technology partnership between Nexogy and Sling Broadband will provide, a unique blend of hosted voice and high-speed wireless access, said company officials.

Sling Broadband is regarded as one of the largest carriers of data traffic in North America, providing businesses worldwide with a reliable data network and outstanding service while Nexogy is stated to be a complete telecommunications provider that gives small- and medium-sized businesses the power to manage all of the communications from anywhere, at any time.

"The partnership with Sling Broadband offers our customers the latest fixed wireless technology for better high-speed, dedicated network availability," noted Robert Jans, vice president of sales and business development, Nexogy

Customers are expected to benefit a great deal. They can do away with the traditional T1’s, which are expensive and less reliable for the combined solution apparently guarantees 99.999 percent uptime, offers greater flexibility and more secure networks. It also promises to be a low cost alternative to LEC with shorter install intervals.

Keith Jones, vice president of business development at Sling Broadband appeared excited at the prospect of delivering greater value to customers with a rather unique product.

"Today, all businesses rely on the Internet for operations. Our new product line will give businesses the confidence that they will not experience lack of productivity due to internet outages," observed Jones, commenting on the benefits of the partnership.

Ubiquiti (News - Alert) Networks, Inc., a next-generation communications technology company, announced that it is the official hardware provider for Florida-based Sling Broadband. Using Ubiquiti hardware and software, Sling Broadband provides Internet solutions and infrastructure for notable organizations and events.
