Sigma System's Cloud ServiceBroker Now Available

Sigma Systems recently revealed that its Cloud ServiceBroker solution has made its official debut. Touted as an integrated SaaS (News - Alert) service fulfillment solution, the solution helps users to select, provision and better manage SaaS services and applications.

The solution supports and manages complex business package bundling, including authorization and entitlements processing for on-network and SaaS application services. Moreover, it enables scalability up to tens of millions of managed services and reduces costs associated with expanding hardware, software, and licensing requirements.

With ServiceBroker, users can provide simultaneous provisioning and support for both on-network and SaaS (off-network) services and applications from a single OSS. Moreover, the single-source architecture eliminates operational silos and the need for multi-vendor OSS solutions. The users can also package and fulfill any bundled offering with a unique and integrated catalog filled with applications and services to meet every customer need

"By offering the Cloud ServiceBroker as an extension of our existing OSS fulfillment platform, Sigma has created a way for service providers to rapidly and efficiently realize new revenue opportunities from SaaS applications," said Tim Spencer, president and COO of Sigma Systems (News - Alert), in a statement. "Business customers, many of whom lack the time or knowledge to investigate, select and deploy SaaS services on their own, will benefit from having a single, trusted source for cloud services that will help them to better manage and grow their businesses."

In related company news, Sigma Systems recently offered cloud services strategies to mobile operators at its 4G World Conference that took place October 29 – November 1, 2012 at McCormick Place in Illinois. Sigma's Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Rick Mallon, participated in a panel of industry experts in a session titled, "Cloud Service Strategies to Monetize OTT Content and Apps," illustrating the necessity for operators to collaborate, rather than compete with OTT providers.
