With more and more enterprise customers opting for its solution, eG Innovations is growing in the application performance management space. In Q3 2012, the company signed a record number of new customers for management of virtual desktops and applications, product innovation and new strategic partnerships.
According to a report by 451 Research, over 400 of enterprise customers today are using eG Enterprise to gain performance visibility, automate distributed performance correlation and diagnosis, proactively alert problems and provide predictive analytics. These capabilities enable companies to speed up performance diagnosis, reduce operational cost, deliver user satisfaction and unlock the potential of virtual, cloud and physical IT environments.
"Customers are anxious to have a solution that addresses the systemic performance challenges inherent in virtualized environments. Often, these challenges prevent customers from achieving the ROI benefits they envisioned when they embarked on virtualization initiatives," CEO and founder of eG Innovations, Srinivas Ramanathan, said in a statement. "With eG Enterprise V5.6 our customers will achieve even broader value as we deliver total performance visibility across the virtualized IT infrastructure. Going forward, we will build on our success by focusing on further accelerating the discovery, diagnosis and resolution of critical business service performance issues."
Built on automated correlation and problem diagnosis technology, eG Enterprise 5.6 accelerates performance diagnosis, lowers operational cost, delivers user satisfaction and helps realize the true potential of virtual, cloud and physical IT environments.
eG Innovation also received two patents of late, the first for its virtualization-aware automatic root-cause diagnosis technology, and the second for eG Innovations' In-N-Out monitoring technology for virtual infrastructures, which provides a correlated outside and inside view of virtual machines.
To expand its strategic partnerships, eG Innovations ties up with Egenera to provide a joint solution, offering customers greater return-on-investment by automating provisioning, performance management and capacity planning. The company has also partnered with Red Hat (News - Alert), whereby administrators can use eG Enterprise to monitor the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization server and desktop platforms – including the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization hypervisor, datastores, virtual networks and Virtual Machines.
