EPiServer 7 CMS Content Management System Released

EPiServer a provider of multichannel digital marketing and e-commerce software, recently released EPiServer 7 CMS, a content management system.

This system will allow marketers and editors to create content that works seamlessly across channels. Also, it will help businesses deliver a consistent customer experience across mobile, tablet and desktop screens from a single platform to strengthen their online presence.

“Our customers tell us that it is difficult and time consuming to create great sites that are relevant to the customer and ensure maximum impact across mobile, tablet and desktop as well as the social channel. With EPiServer 7 CMS, your site will look great on any size screen,” said Bob Egner, VP of Product Development and Global Marketing at EPiServer, in a statement.

The platform drives relevant traffic from social channels besides personalizing the communication based on the customer context, helping marketers increase conversion rates. EPiServer 7 CMS leverages cross-channel engagement to increase integration with customers.

Additionally, the offering lets marketers strategize their online presence and manage several sites serving both global and local markets. The content management features enable marketers to enhance quality control, efficiency and security using an intuitive interface that automatically reveals relevant information only for content creators.

“By giving marketers and content creators the option to update all screens at once and reuse content across the web and social channels, we’ve streamlined the process, making it even easier for companies to create consistent, responsive sites that are customized and optimized based on the customer context,” Egner added.

EPiServer 7 CMS delivers standard connections for Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SalesForce.com besides offering an open and flexible interface for SAP (News - Alert), Oracle, Amadeus and other data sources.
