e-DBA recently released four Oracle (News - Alert) labs under the Amazon Web Services or AWS Oracle Test Drive program. The dedicated Oracle Platinum Partner has revealed that all the labs can be used by organizations for a maximum of five hours for no extra cost, allowing users to simulate the production testing of their selected Oracle lab.
Organizations can understand the benefits of AWS hosted Oracle solutions directly through the Oracle Test Drive program launched by AWS. End-users can not only gain training regarding the usage of Oracle in the cloud as a dependable and affordable offering for their businesses through the lab, but also experience the benefits in real-time. Organizations can now analyze the cloud though the recently initiated lab tests for free without any compulsions. As organizations are not required to make any purchases, they can implement the protected and dependable Oracle instance in the cloud on a trial basis without any hesitation.
e-DBA has currently developed four labs, Oracle 11g on AWS; Oracle Secure Backup to S3; Oracle DataGuard; and Oracle Active DataGuard.
In a statement, James Anthony, Technology Director, e-DBA said, “We are excited to be part of the Amazon Oracle Test Drive program and feel very privileged to be the only UK & EMEA partner involved. Over the last few weeks we have been working hard to create and test the labs to ensure that they are ready. We believe this is the perfect way to give customers a taste of exactly how easy and simple AWS is to use and deploy Oracle in the Cloud from a simple Oracle 11g database instance through to using Oracle Active DataGuard.”
Currently, 10 Oracle and AWS associates, including e-DBA, have been requested for offering labs as part of the program. Oracle had awarded the ‘Oracle Technology Partner of the Year’ award to e-DBA in March 2012.
