Fox Technologies Achieves McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator

Fox Technologies (FoxT), Inc., a McAfee (News - Alert) Security Innovation Alliance partner and a provider of Enterprise Access Management solutions, recently announced that its FoxT ServerControl product has achieved McAfee Compatible status with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) software. As a result, the organizations will now be able to leverage McAfee ePO software to speed deployment and automate inventory management of privileged account management across their diverse server infrastructure.

FoxT ServerControl provides centralized privileged access management and control across diverse server domains—including delegation of privileged user accounts and commands—to improve operational efficiency and significantly reduce the risk of insider fraud. FoxT ServerControl transforms the multivendor server environment, including virtual machines, into one centrally managed domain. It simplifies the organization's ability to enforce security policies and control access to critical systems and information. Controlled delegation of privileged accounts and control over privileged command execution eliminates password sharing and boosts security.

"Recent news on costly security breaches from insider fraud emphasizes the on-going challenge with keeping user access rights enforced and up-to-date," said Subhash Tantry, CEO at FoxT. "By leveraging the capabilities of McAfee ePO software, our customers can rapidly deploy and inventory the access controls they need to reduce the risk of a security breach while streamlining administration and audits."

FoxT ServerControl integrates seamlessly with the existing LDAP/Active Directory, IDM, SIEM and help desk systems to automate the provisioning and removal of user accounts and streamline operations. It also delivers centralized user activity and keystroke logs to automate auditing and compliance reporting.

"We are pleased to see FoxT achieve McAfee Compatible status for their access management solution," said Ed Barry, vice president of the Security Innovation Alliance, McAfee. "By proactively enforcing access policies and eliminating the sharing of privileged accounts, our joint solution helps reduce the risk of insider fraud, solve key compliance issues, and lower system administration costs."
