In his new role, Waters will have the responsibility of managing MegaPath’s outside sales teams. These teams focus on mid-sized to large businesses and enterprise accounts, and their clients include some of the Fortune 1000 companies and large retailers, the company has stated.
In his tenure as VP of the Government and Education division of CenturyLink, Waters looked after the sales and support for the company's customers in various domains such as state and local government and education sectors.
Waters has also served as vice president of Sales for Qwest (News - Alert) Communications' mid-market sales division. Here, he looked after the company's inside and outside sales teams. He then moved to CenturyLink when Qwest Communications merged with the company.
MegaPath believes Water’s experience will be extremely valuable to the company.
“Organizations across the country are looking for the most cost-effective communications solutions available, but want to ensure they do not sacrifice quality of service," said Waters. "MegaPath is known for its strong voice, data, security and hosted IT services, and I look forward to working with the sales teams to ensure we meet the communications needs of companies nationwide.”
Recently, the company completed its countrywide Ethernet over Copper (EoC) network expansion. According to the company, this announcement will solidify its position as the largest EoC provider in the United States.
MegaPath is leading the way in offering users with inexpensive high-performance choices that can be tailored to meet their specific needs with the company’s nationwide investment in this game-changing service. This is not possible today with traditional access solutions.
