Recently, Trimble (News - Alert) introduced Trimble Geo 5 and Juno 5 handheld GNSS devices. These are new additions to the company’s portfolio for data collection, maintenance and inspection applications.
Both of the products are ideal for GIS field workflows, which consist of Trimble's TerraSync field software that is sold on all of Trimble GIS platforms. Also, both of the products offer features such as integrated cameras and bright, wireless communications options and sunlight-readable screens.

"Now with two platforms in both the Geo and Juno families, customers can confidently choose a handheld that best fits their needs. The Geo 5 offers the necessary features for continuous, submeter productivity in a smaller package. Trimble is well experienced in offering GIS data collection applications as the company’s GeoExplorer line of GNSS handhelds are available in the market since 1994.
In 2011, the showcased it’s Trimble GeoManager WorkManagement. At Microsoft (News - Alert) Convergence 2011 event, the Trimble GeoManager WorkManagement, a new cloud-based field service solution, was combined with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Microsoft Dynamics is mainly a line of simple to learn and use ERP and CRM solutions that function with client’s existing technology and offer scalability with long-term value.
