omNovia Technologies, AV One Team to Power Live Event Webcasting

omNovia Technologies, a provider of Web and video conferencing technologies and AV One, a provider of audio visual services, have recently inked a partnership to provide unique, turn-key live event webcasting services.

Tom Karr, CEO at AV One, said in a statement that the combination of AV One’s high quality services and omNovia’s advanced webcasting technology offers a unique solution that enables companies to create high impact events by significantly increasing their audience.

The partnership is expected to not only enable streaming events in HD quality, but also create an easy-to-use, interactive and secure Web-based environment. With webcasting of live events, companies can take events beyond the ballroom and onto the PC or mobile devices of national and global audiences.

In addition to corporate communications, live event webcasting which is also called simulcasting, is also ideal for employee training, product launches, investor relationships, political speeches and more. Unlike webinars, in live event webcasting presenters are on a live stage or in front of production cameras.

The omNovia solution takes the standard audio and video feed from AV One’s equipment and broadcasts it live to remote attendees who can then watch slide shows and interact with the live audience via chat, polls and Twitter (News - Alert). Moreover, the omNovia solution also incorporates a comprehensive event management and credit card processing system.

Noting that in a rapidly growing market companies need to maximize their return on events, Patrick Ricci, director of Sales North America at omNovia Technologies added, “The successful relationship with AV One is a perfect example of how omNovia partners with AV companies, allowing them to provide advanced webcasting solutions to their client.”

Additionally, omNovia and AV One specialists intend to work with their clients to design, set up and deliver events using proven industry best practices.
