Biamp Systems Introduces New Voice Alarm System - Vocia 1.4.1

According to a statement, the newest Vocia version has more software control and flexibility, boasting ground fault detection and delay time limits. Vocia even offers an ultimate networked solution for integrators, system managers and endusers, having been designed to meet the exact specifications and requirements demanded of public address and voice evacuation systems.

Vocia 1.4.1 offers new options for ease-of-use and system flexibility.

“Biamp is committed to continued product innovation,” said Graeme Harrison, executive VP of Biamp Systems. “The expanded functionality of Vocia 1.4.1 meets the needs of integrators, system managers and endusers with even more system flexibility."

Vocia 1.4.1 includes VA-8600/VA-8600c amplifiers that have increased flexibility with the delay time limits, expanding from 0.5 seconds (500ms) maximum per channel to 2.7 seconds (2700ms). Additionally, it includes the EN 54-16 certified small amplifiers that are now available with the ability to turn ground fault detection on or off within the software.

Biamp product suite includes the Tesira media system for digital audio networking, Audia Digital Audio Platform, Nexia digital signal processors, Sona AEC algorithm and Vocia Networked Public Address and Voice Evacuation System. These products come fully equipped with a feature set that can be customized and integrated in a wide range of applications, including corporate boardrooms, conference centers, performing arts venues, courtrooms, hospitals, transportation hubs, campuses and multi-building facilities.
