iTeknik Holding Corporation announced that through its subsidiary SendGlobal it is going to sell Subscriber Identity Modules (SIM) cards from ISO 1, a subsidiary of Florida-based United Leasing Group.
Offering SIM cards for domestic cell phones as part of its retail product line should enable the company to move toward offering hardware.
iTeknik reportedly rebuilt its EZposa system so that it could offer virtual products such as its SendGlobal international calling service and also physical products like SIM cards. The company will soon be signing new agreements with other hardware manufacturers too in order to supply hardware to its independent wireless store partners.
SendGlobal is a prepaid service that can be accessed from any of users’ registered phones by simply dialing the Send Global access number and then dialing the destination number. Unlike a traditional calling card, users do not have to enter a PIN number to place calls, as the system recognizes their phone number much like the caller ID and connects their call.
EZPosa’s calling plans are supposedly modeled to cater to the requirements of customers’ high standards and its products deliver the highest quality routes and a number of enhanced features like, PINless dialing, speed dial and more.
“Prepaid wireless phone service or what I like to call ‘No Annual Contract’ service is exploding. We have created great loyalty with our products and commission plans for independent wireless retail stores. Our goal is to create the same loyalty within SendGlobal’s outstanding retail network. Once SIM cards have been launched we want to explore other product offerings with SendGlobal,” exclaimed David Bernstein, CEO at ISO 1, in a statement.ITEXPO West 2012, taking place Oct. 2-5, in Austin, TX.
