Idera Launches Version 3.5 of SQL Check

Idera, a well-known provider of application and server management solutions, has launched a new version of a free SQL server performance monitoring tool. The company has launched version 3.5 of SQL check for SQL Server databases, which offers valuable real-time performance information for database administrators and developers.

SQL check 3.5 offers throughput monitoring that displays important metrics for batches, compilations, recompilations and transactions on the SQL Server.

“SQL check is an incredibly useful tool to help DBAs manage time-consuming everyday tasks such as troubleshooting issues on SQL Server databases,” said Heather Sullivan, director of SQL Server Products at Idera. “SQL check 3.5 monitors 20 key performance metrics, is easy to install and can be up and running within five minutes."

Throughput monitoring assists database administrators in better understanding a server's normal activity level and identifying unusual spikes that might be causing performance bottlenecks. Idera provides industry-leading application and server management software for Windows and Linux Servers, including solutions for SQL Server and SharePoint administration.
