SevOne, a provider of solutions for IT performance management, stated that it has released a software update for its SevOne appliance now capable of scaling exponentially compared to other network performance management tools.
SevOne claimed that its unique peer-to-peer appliance solution is delivered complete, and is ready out-of-the-box to collect data and monitor users’ key performance indicators and in order to meet their various environment needs, the SevOne performance monitoring solution is available in both physical and virtual appliances.
With the updated SevOne appliance, users can now manage millions of network objects and run trillions of baseline analytics in real-time. The solution is the first ever performance management tool that can proactively monitor big data networks.
SevOne’s hardware-based appliances collect and store one year of raw performance data optimally without requiring aggregation. For users requiring virtual appliance deployments or a combination of virtual and physical appliances, the SevOne solution can also be deployed on VMware vSphere, alongside SevOne’s physical appliances.
Also, when deployed with its peer-to-peer SevOne Cluster technology configuration, made up of many SevOne appliances, millions of objects across all networking technologies can be monitored from a straightforward single web interface – for the first time, in real time.
“Our many large enterprise clients face a daunting daily task of monitoring and managing a dramatically increasing number of network endpoints. The SevOne appliance simplifies this task. Our customers, for the first time, can easily manage millions of objects, run baseline analytics in the trillions, and see emerging network problems BEFORE they occur. This is a game changer for both our customers and the monitoring and management industry at large” stated Mike Phelan, CEO of SevOne, in a statement.
Some of the benefits of SevOne appliance are: 300 polling threads per appliance capability visibility gaps can be removed and instant accurate data collection and analysis across big data networks can be ensured; network-wide reports are generated in seconds and problems are solved just as fast; designed specifically to support continuous, exponential network growth; all-in-one appliance means smaller footprint and requires minimal daily management which results in lower CAPEX/OPEX (News - Alert); and more.
