Network Global Logistics Initiates Several Management Changes

Recently, it was revealed that Network Global Logistics (NGL) made some some major management changes in hopes of continuing to reinforce its organic growth and acquisitions.

Ray Garcia has been named as chairman of NGL and the president of the company, Scott Riddle will also become the CEO. In addition, the company’s chief financial officer will be Forrest Kragten. The company’s new management structure should enable it to concentrate more keenly on the potential it has in the marketplace.

“These changes are key to our strategy to drive continued growth both organically and by acquisition. Ray will have more time to work on acquisitions while I will continue to focus on running the business, driving revenue and earnings growth. And as CFO, Forrest will be a huge plus for our acquisition activities. He is uniquely qualified, given his deep experience doing M&A work with Lehman Brothers (News - Alert) and other firms”, commented Scott Riddle, in a statement.

Garcia reportedly has over twenty years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and has previously worked as the CEO of OIA Global Logistics in Portland and was also with the IBM (News - Alert) as a director of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and director of IBM’s Government Programs.

He will be overseeing all business units in NGL and boasts vast expertise in transportation and supply chain management. Kragten is credited to having led NGL’s many acquisition efforts to date, and as CFO is responsible for financial planning for the company.

“These moves are directly in line with helping us provide more value for all our stakeholders. To enhance that value, we've strengthened every area of the company, from technology to personnel. We're prepared to execute on a key component of our overall strategy, to consolidate the same day industry and extend our position as the premier critical transportation and logistics company in the market” added Garcia.
