Enventis Recognized with Cisco Cloud Builder Designation

Enventis, a subsidiary of HickoryTech, recently announced that it has been recognized with Cisco (News - Alert) Cloud Builder Designation within the Cisco Cloud Partner Program. The designation has been provided to the company after it met all the requirements regarding security, networking, compute, storage and virtualization solutions as well as cloud management applications.

“Our customers are turning to cloud solutions in order to become more nimble, flexible and operationally efficient,” said Steve Larson, vice president of Enterprise Integration Services at Enventis (News - Alert). “The Cisco Cloud Builder designation is a result of Enventis’ success in helping customers design, build and manage their private and hybrid cloud infrastructure.”

Enventis provides voice and data telecommunications and related services that connect its customers to the world. The company’s regional SONET-based fiber network provides a high-bandwidth, highly available and self-healing platform for organizations that depend on reliable connectivity. The company provides hardware and services for the planning, design, implementation and operational support of unified communications systems. As one of the leading Cisco integrators in the country, Enventis has deep experience helping small, medium, large and enterprise organizations realize the operational, technical and financial rewards of IP communications.

Cisco Cloud Partner Program helps partners choose their role in the cloud and evolve their business models to capitalize on the multi-billion cloud market opportunity. The Cisco Cloud Partner Program (CPP) has three tracks that provide partners with the flexibility to choose the role they want to play in the market: Cloud Builder, Cloud Provider and Cloud Services Reseller.

Cloud Builder is for partners who design and implement cloud-ready infrastructures or fully provisioned private or public clouds. Cloud Provider is designed for partners offering public cloud services to the market.  Cloud Services Reseller is complementary to the Cloud Provider track, as it offers an additional route to market for the cloud provider.
