PowerOneData's Genii Products to be Brought to the Global Market through Collaboration with Agnitio Technologies

PowerOneData International, Inc., a specialist in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), announced a collaboration with Agnitio Technologies Private Ltd, an international systems integrator, consulting and services company with operational bases in the U.S., Canada, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and New Delhi, India.

Under the partnership, Agnitio Technologies will market PowerOneData’s proprietary Genii Meter Data Management software cooperatively across its global service area, the companies revealed in a press release.

PowerOneData International's AMI solutions have been reshaping the ways energy is managed around the globe. In addition to Genii software, the company’s AMI solutions includes best of breed hardware and firmware. Its Genii software is a cloud based agnostic Meter Data Management solution.

Phil Nuciola PowerOneData’s chairman and CEO said that the collaboration helps the company supply end-to-end AMI solutions on a global scale.

“This is an important collaboration for PowerOneData International, which supports our strategy and goal of providing the best quality end to end solutions for AMI projects around the world. We appreciate the opportunity of being able to use our competencies to provide Agnitio's clients with such a solution,” Nuciola commented in a statement.

Agnitio has a strong presence in the international energy and communication market. The company’s offerings include integrated smart energy management, operation support and customer experience management solutions. The company is led by Debasis Ojha, an IT industry veteran, having been associated with large IT enterprises and leading major projects across the Telecom and Power domains, globally, for the past 25 years.

Earlier PowerOneData announced its collaboration with Bharat Connect to co-develop a "Smart Meter" that incorporates "Broadband Over Powerline" capability into its hardware architecture.
