SpeedGauge Witnesses Steep Rise in Number of Resellers Since 2011

The worldwide market of business analytics has been increasing at a rapid pace. Keeping track of the constantly changing market scenarios and customer trends helps enterprises decide their long- and short-term market strategies more accurately.

SpeedGauge, a San Francisco-based provider of advanced business intelligence and analytics to the commercial transportation industry, has announced that the number of its resellers has increased to become more than double what it was in the beginning of the year 2011.

Entering new global markets like Canada and Australasia, the company has been tracking a regular month-over-month growth for the past four years.

SpeedGuage, which has offered its software solution products through a wide range of worldwide GPS fleet tracking partners and third-party providers, has been planning to expand its reach after North America, Europe and Australasia, where its solutions have been deployed within a large number of fleets.

It has been entering into reseller, patent and service partnership with a number of telematics providers such as 2-Track, Automotive Resources International or ‘ARI,’ CarrierWeb, Intermedix, FleetLocate, Navman Wireless, International Road Dynamics, International Telematics and Procon Telematics since the year 2011. The company deploys its core driver-behavior IP products and GPS data analytics to develop a number of standardized and customized solutions for its partners and resellers.

SpeedGuage recently added a number of telematics service providers within new market sectors such as medical transportation and fleet leasing, considerably increasing the number of its installed units.

“The SpeedGauge platform of driver-behavior-related monitoring tools and services provides our resellers and partners with exceptional product differentiation and incremental revenue,” commented Jonathan Hubbard, co-founder and chief executive officer at SpeedGauge. “Perhaps more important, SpeedGauge’s product offerings furnishes an opportunity for telematics providers to move beyond commoditized tracking services to engage with fleets in a consultative sales process that delivers both higher margins to the telematics provider and greater value to the fleet.”

Seamlessly integrating safety, risk and GPS analysis with coaching tools, the company brings the SpeedGauge platform that offers a smarter and safer driving experience. Enterprises can flexibly use the solution within their fleets without having to purchase or install any other equipment.

In February 2012, Navman Wireless, a company specializing in fleet and equipment tracking solutions and products, announced it will offer its new GPS-based speed monitoring service for its OnlineAVL2 fleet tracking system through a partnership with SpeedGauge.
