Asset Management Solutions Firm Mandli Communications Partners with Earthmine

With a goal to bring integrated street-level data to the U.S. transportation market, earthmine incorporated and Mandli Communications forged a strategic partnership.

Under the partnership, Mandli will integrate the earthmine MARS system with their already established mobile LiDAR, pavement and retro-reflectivity systems. In time, Mandli will be offering the full range of earthmine products and solutions, from data collection services to software and data hosting, a press release revealed.

Madison, Wisconsin-based Mandli is a provider of highly specialized digital imaging, data collection equipment and operational methodologies for various Departments of Transportation throughout the world. The company’s offering includes a complete range of imaging, pavement and positional equipment. Complemented by a suite of supporting software and services, Mandli has enabled their clients to design, manage and maintain safe and efficient roadway networks.

Integrating mobile 3D mapping hardware, software, and services from earthmine, into its asset and pavement management technology, Mandli’s solutions will be better able to streamline the tasks of statewide right-of-way asset data collection, processing, delivery and integration.

earthmine’s mobile 3D mapping solution consists of vehicle-based mobile mapping systems, automated data processing, online hosting service or end-user hosted options, as well as client software and developer tools for integration with existing data sets and information systems. earthmine technology is already in use in the Internet, mobile, mapping, GIS, safety and security markets around the world.

“The earthmine camera system and workflows are by far the most refined in the industry. We consider it to be a very high-value system. To be able to collect imagery of the depth and clarity that earthmine provides will be a huge advantage for our company,” president of Mandli Communications, Ray Mandli noted in a statement.

“We are very excited to have Mandli as an earthmine partner, especially given their leadership and experience in delivering integrated spatial solutions to the transportation market. Mandli's ability to integrate complex systems that deliver bottom-line value is shown by their depth of customers. earthmine’s 3D imaging solution fits nicely with Mandli’s current technology and ability to deliver cutting edge, cost effective and complete asset and pavement management solutions to U.S. state DOT customers,” said Anthony Fassero, co-CEO of earthmine.

Last year, earthmine became an Autodesk AEC Industry Partner, and introduced the latest edition of the earthmine desktop product suite, earthmine for AutoCAD Map 3D. As an Autodesk (News - Alert) AEC Industry Partner, earthmine works closely with Autodesk on product integration opportunities to bring real world data and context to the CAD environment, as well as joint marketing and consulting opportunities within the infrastructure market.
