Travelocity Global Signs Agreement with Hilton Worldwide

Travelocity Global recently entered a partnership agreement with Hilton Worldwide, a leading global hospitality company. According to the terms of the partnership, Hilton Worldwide will connect to Travelocity via Travelocity Connect platform, giving the Travelocity, lastminute.com and ZUJI shoppers continued access to its chain of hotels across the globe.

The Travelocity Connect platform provides a fast, simple, and cost effective way for hotel companies to sell on Travelocity.com, lastminute.com, and Zuji.com, accessing millions of travelers around the world. Travelocity has developed a state-of-the art connectivity platform for updating and managing rates, availability and inventory. This connectivity portal is a useful resource to make API development and hotels on-boarding easy. The interface is simple and straightforward to use.

"Hilton Worldwide's ten distinct hotel brands are very important brands to our customers in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and we look forward to continuing to build on our solid relationship," said Noreen Henry, senior vice president global partner services, Travelocity Global. "This renewed agreement further reinforces the value that Travelocity Global continues to bring to all of our hotel partners."

"This new agreement between Travelocity Global and Hilton Worldwide is focused on driving sales and highlights the collaborative spirit between us," said Eduardo Schutte, vice president distribution and channel management, Hilton Worldwide. "This leading shopping and booking channel complements our distribution strategy and global reach by helping us tap primarily into leisure travelers who like to shop several outlets before booking."

The Travelocity Connect Developers Portal was launched recently by Travelocity. It was developed in collaboration with Mashery (News - Alert), the global leader in API management technology and services. The portal includes Mashery made tools that help developers quickly take advantage of the unique opportunity to integrate complex real-time property and booking data with Travelocity Connect, and sell to customers with a new level of accuracy and ease.
