Dell Set to Sell Silver Peak Solutions

To focus on the emerging market of the Virtual Network solutions, Dell has decided to sell Silver Peak (News - Alert) solutions through its shops in over 30 countries throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

Silver Peak Systems, the solutions’ parent company, provides data center class wide area network (WAN) optimization, and announced Dell’s (News - Alert) latest move at Interop Las Vegas 2012.

Dell is considered a preferred partner for WAN optimization and enterprises of all sizes worldwide, and can easily and cost-effectively deploy and use WAN optimization in data centers, branch offices and the cloud.

Attendees of Interop will learn about Silver Peak integrations with Dell networking, server and storage products in the Dell booth at Interop (News - Alert) Las Vegas, booth #1727, May 8-10, 2012, Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Silver Peak's WAN optimization solutions are strategic will help companies pursue their IT initiatives, including data center consolidation, data migration, cloud computing, disaster recovery, server centralization and hosted virtual desktops (VDI). The company’s Virtual Acceleration Open Architecture (VXOA) delivers unprecedented scalability and flexibility, enabling rapid deployment of WAN optimization anywhere and on any platform or hypervisor.
