mindSHIFT Chooses Biscom's Secure File Transfer Solution

mindSHIFT Technologies Inc., a company providing managed IT services for legal organizations around the U.S., just announced a deal with Biscom, Inc. to offer its legal clients tighter, more secure solutions for transferring files containing sensitive information about their clients.

People originally used FTP, email, instant messaging, physical media and other methods to transfer files. But Biscom's product, known as Secure File Transfer for Legal, gives companies an affordable and simple way to transfer files between attorneys and clients through a Web interface, removing the need for an IT staff to handle the files.

“mindSHIFT has been a trusted technology advisor to the legal community for over 10 years, providing best-in-class infrastructure solutions and professional services to more than 25 percent of the Am Law 200 firms,” said Silas McCullough, GM at mindSHIFT Legal Professional Services. “We are committed to solving the unique technology challenges of our clients, enabling them to focus on building their practice instead of managing IT issues. The addition of Biscom's Secure File Transfer solution to our portfolio of Total IT Management and professional services is a great fit."

Many companies around the nation have called upon the services of mindSHIFT because of its long line of experience in the IT industry particularly related to the legal spectrum. mindSHIFT has also received recognition as being one of the best outsourcing providers of IT services by New York Law Journal's readers.

“Law firms and corporate legal departments handle large volumes of confidential client data every day and require an affordable and more secure way to exchange that data between colleagues and clients,” said Charles Magliato, Biscom's Legal Program Director. “Our solution balances a firm's desire to ensure efficiencies, increase productivity and maintain standard business processes and workflows with the need to safely transfer electronic information. We are pleased to be included in mindSHIFT's portfolio of IT services that have been developed specifically to meet the needs of law firms and corporate legal departments.”
