Clavister Simplifies Security Solutions that Protect Against Evolving Complex Threats

Clavister realizes that a growing number of corporate networks face new IT security threats and risks arising from the increasing use of smartphones and social media. The company has therefore introduced a new series of highly advanced mobile and network security products allowing businesses, cloud and telecoms providers to mitigate these risks.

Clavister’s new security solutions have been launched with an enhanced operating system featuring a more user-friendly interface. The solution is called Clavister cOS, and is currently available in two versions – cOS Core and cOS Stream – replacing the old Clavister CorePlus and SlipStream (News - Alert).

"With increasingly mobile workforces, and a trend towards employees using their own equipment to access company emails, contacts or calendars (bring your own device [BYOD]), businesses have to ensure the same levels of security apply to these remote devices as well as those in the office,” Johansson added. “This new product portfolio is designed to ensure the highest levels of protection in a compact device, while the process of installation, management and support is far simpler”.

The new portfolio is based on the innovative technology found in all Clavister products, and will offer security for a range of customer requirements. The Clavister Eagle Series offers products for remote and branch offices. The Clavister Virtual Series is designed for virtual and cloud environments. The Clavister Lynx Series is for industrial and ruggedized products. The Clavister PolarBear Series is for telecom and carrier grade products and The Clavister Wolf Series offers products for enterprise and data centers.
