Aggreko offers a broad range of energy and electrical solutions from large-scale planned power to emergency power outage resolution through custom built generator solutions. Its lineup includes generator variations from diesel to natural gas and a length of accessories: fuel tanks, load banks, cable ramps, bins, load panels and quad box strings.
Aggreko has been shrewdly reaching into emerging international markets like India and China, offering their portable electricity solutions to companies pushing those former 2nd world nations into leading positions in the global economy.
Central to Aggreko’s global expansion is the connectivity available through Orange Business Services’ industry leading IP VPN, which services 132 sites in 31 different countries now under a brand new 36-month contract. The contract extension and renewal with Orange Business Services supports Aggreko’s geographic growth in Asia and nine South American countries.
The choice to remain a customer of Orange Business Services was not one Aggreko took lightly. “When considering this renewal, we weighed the option of using several regional organizations and other worldwide solution providers to meet our strategic needs, verses retaining Orange Business Services as our worldwide provider and partner,” said Steven Henry, Director of Infrastructure and Operations at Aggreko.
Orange Business Services is known for curating the largest IP VPN service in the world, but is now offering cloud-ready network solutions that will likely eclipse traditional VPN because of its ease in accommodating new telecommunications tools like Telepresence (News - Alert) and enterprise cloud solutions.
The new contract is good news for Orange Business Services, which has set its sights high, publicizing a growth strategy aimed at increasing revenue by more than 1 billion Euros by 2015.
