ATEN Launches New Industry-First Lightweight CL3000N PS/2-USB LCD Console

ATEN (News - Alert), a provider of KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) switches and remote management, LCD consoles, video and data connectivity solutions, announced the launch of the new CL3000N PS/2-USB LCD Console. Designed to be lightweight, the new LCD console serves as the front-end console for all compatible KVM switches. Featuring a 19-inch power-saving LCD monitor, the new CL3000N PS/2-USB LCD Console combines functionality of a keyboard, video monitor and touchpad all within one single unit.

The CL3000N’s lightweight frame allows for easy installation, which means even a single person can easily carry out a rack install. Ideal for deployment within government installations, the CL3000N can be effective in military vehicles which have to adhere to strict weight limitations and regulations.

Furthermore, the CL3000N has been designed to be eco-friendly as it expends only 72.9 BTUs an hour and 21.4 watts which offers close to 55 percent savings in power consumption. The LED backlighting used for the CL3000Ns LCD flat panel allows for its slim panel and lower energy consumption capabilities as well as efficient heat dissipation.   

The CL3000N’s features include an Integrated LCD console that comes with 19” monitor in Slideaway housing. In addition to green power, its LED-backlit LCD monitor which is an energy saver in addition featuring a lightweight frame which allows easy installation. The console also features a Dual Interface which is capable of supporting computers with PS/2 or USB keyboards and mice and has also been fitted with an additional console port which enables easy management of computers from an external console. With a low power consumption of 120V, 21.4W / 230V, 22.7W the CL3000N comes in a compact frame of 8.41 kg/18.54 lbs.
