Zeus Technology (News - Alert), a pioneer in Application Delivery Controller software, recently announced the availability of Zeus Traffic Manager on the RightScale Cloud Management Platform. Zeus will be providing its traffic management technology to RightScale, enabling latter’s customers to easily create, manage and deliver exceptional service levels for their cloud-based applications. The customers will now be able to easily scale cloud capacity to meet various traffic demands, as well as shift capacity to another cloud in the event of an outage. This ensures customers’ uninterrupted service for their cloud-based applications.

“We are pleased that Zeus’ traffic management technology is now available to RightScale customers. Their technology is enterprise-grade and fully supported which is very important for our customers to ensure high availability and responsiveness of their applications,” said Josh Fraser (News - Alert), RightScale VP of Business Development, in a press release. "Deploying Zeus in RightScale can be done in a few clicks; and because Zeus uses our single billing model the charge is conveniently included in the RightScale invoice for the customer."

“This partnership is truly complementary for customers in every sense,” said Kosten Metreweli (News - Alert), Chief Strategy Officer, Zeus Technology, in a press release. “Companies turn to RightScale to provide them with a cloud management layer that offers the necessary flexibility, scalability, automation and control to better manage their cloud deployments. Zeus provides those same capabilities but in the form of traffic management software, enabling customers to manage applications in the cloud.”

Zeus delivers high performance software-based load balancing and traffic management solutions for virtual and cloud environments. Recently, Zeus Technology, the pioneers of Application Delivery Controller software, hosted, alongside its customer AlertBoot, a workshop at Structure San Francisco on June 22, advising attendees on how to manage spikes in holiday traffic with auto-scaling, drawing upon AlertBoot's real-life experience.
