Tribair's White Label Solution Makes it a Win-Win Situation for Everyone

Former Mobivox founders and top employees Eric Reiher, Jérôme Arnaud, Clément Karumuhinzi and David Ménard's goal of taking VoIP calling to the next level materialized in the form of Tribair, which builds iPhone and Android (News - Alert) VoIP applications.

Company Officials claim that since its launch six months ago, users from all over the world have saved money by using Tribair to make free and inexpensive calls, send free messages and also to send text, picture, voice and video messages.

The Tribair application is feature rich and uses push technology. Incoming call alerts alert the user regardless of whether the app is open or closed. It offers competitive long distance rates claimed to be 45 percent cheaper than Skype (News - Alert). Tribair users can talk , chat, video chat among themselves for free.

A startup based in Montreal, Canada, Tribair launched its global network of VOIP hotspots where members turn their personal or business WiFi (News - Alert) into hubs for other members to use.

While other VoIP solutions don't allow the sharing of a WiFi hotspot, Tribair users can access maps with over 275, 000 free WiFi hotspots and also register their own hotspot.

The availability of such a large number of hotspots will allow Tribair to offer white label solutions for communities or existing brands.

“Small users just weren't gaining enough revenue by opening their WiFi to the community. We are instead rewarding our users by giving them 20 percent to 33 percent more credits when they make a purchase, making our solution over 70 percent cheaper than Skype. Franchises, calling cards or any large community can have their own white label solution and gain more revenue than the 20 percent sharing we were offering. Everyone wins,” said Eric Reiher, CEO of Tribair, in a press release.

Tribair has already successfully launched several partners and is due to launch a white label version of its mobile app for McDonalds. This will enable users to make free and inexpensive calls and also avoid roaming fees while traveling. Most McDonald restaurants also offer free WiFi.
