Robert Half District President Wins the Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award

HDI, the world's largest membership association for help desk and technical support professionals, has recognized Katherine Spence Lee with the Ron Muns (News - Alert) Lifetime Achievement Award.

“I'm grateful to the entire HDI community for this award,” said Lee, in a statement. “Technical support professionals are on the front lines. Their entire job is giving back; giving back to their organizations, to their coworkers and to the IT community. To receive an award from people who embody the pinnacle of service, commitment and dedication is an honor that words cannot adequately express.”

Created in honor of HDI founder, Ron Muns, the HDI Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award honors all those who demonstrate a dedication to the improvement of the support industry and willingness to share their expertise with others through publications, training and presentations.

Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized staffing firm with more than 350 offices worldwide. Lee, a nationally recognized career authority currently oversees Robert Half's professional staffing operations in the Southeastern United States. Prior to this, she also served the company as former executive director of Robert Half Technology, the IT staffing division of global staffing firm Robert Half International.

A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Lee has been a professional member of HDI for more than 15 years. While working with Robert Half Technology (News - Alert) as the executive director, she was actively involved with HDI chapters throughout North America, including participating in their Strategic Advisory Board and speaking at the annual conference.

The HDI Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Lee yesterday evening at the 2011 HDI World Conference on Technical Service and Support in Las Vegas.
