Cisco Awards Silver Certification to Windstream

Windstream, a communications and technology company, claimed that it has received Silver Certification from Cisco.

Windstream claimed that it has surpassed rigorous standards set by Cisco (News - Alert) for networking competency, service, support and customer satisfaction and with the Silver Certification it will be able to provide its customers with more sophisticated levels of support for a variety of data systems and networking solutions. The achievement only acknowledges its commitment to service delivery and technology development.

According to Cisco, the Cisco Silver Certification designation recognizes partners that have either achieved two of the following four advanced specializations: unified communications, routing and switching, security, and wireless LAN; or have achieved the express UC specialization and one of the following advanced specializations: routing & switching, security, or wireless LAN.

In addition to catering to advanced specifications Windstream (News - Alert) had also integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into its offerings and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction based on independently audited customer satisfaction surveys. The Cisco Lifecycle Services portfolio includes a broad range of services that can help companies increase their network's business value and return on investment.

Officials with Cisco asserted that the company is committed to providing tools, training and programs that help drive partner growth, differentiation and profitability. With advanced specializations in Unified Communications (News - Alert), Security and Wireless LAN, Windstream has made an investment in delivering the integrated and customized technology solutions today's customers demand.

Windstream provides high-speed broadband Internet, phone service and Digital TV packages to residential customers as well as products and services for small, medium and large businesses, and government agencies. The company is currently offering businesses a full suite of Cisco's data products, including routers, switches, wireless access devices and security and can deliver network solutions that provide secure, unconstrained connectivity between employees, customers, and information.
