HP Infuses Latest Technologies into New Consumer PCs

Consumers will be provided exceptional experiences with the new notebook and desktop PCs from HP. Ground-breaking technologies like HP CoolSense Technology and Beats Audio will be offered by the notebooks and desktop PCs launched by HP.

The performance of a notebook with the mobility of a netbook is combined by HP for mobile computing in the sleek HP Pavilion. Advanced cooling technology and the latest graphics are featured by the powerful HP ENVY 17 line. The HP ENVY 17 3D model also features free gaming software.

Superb performance with future second-generation Intel Core processors and AMD (News - Alert) Radeon graphics technology are provided by the HP Pavilion desktop and notebook PC lines. Beats Audio is a unique, high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. Beats Audio is featured in select HP Pavilion desktops.

Previous-generation HP TouchSmart PC owners can avail the latest version of HP TouchSmart software through free downloads. Two new fashionable plaid designs available with matching accessories, including sleeves and mice are also included in the HP Mini 2010 line.

Notebook performance in a compact, stylish design is delivered by the thin and light HP Pavilion dm1. Measuring less than 1-inch thin with an 11.6-inch diagonal high-definition BrightView display, this model is ideal for mobile users.

HP CoolSense Technology is featured by the powerful HP ENVY 17. This first high-performance HP PC with advanced cooling technology was first introduced in May. Beats Audio and an HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer for superb sound are featured by the HP ENVY 17. This model with a stunning, 17.3-inch diagonal, HD BrightView display has a storage capacity of up to 2 terabytes.

The HP Pavilion dv6 and dv7 notebook PCs feature future second-generation Intel (News - Alert) Core processors and AMD Radeon graphics technology. The same features are also included in the HP Pavilion p6700, Slimline s5700 and Elite HPE-500 series desktop PCs. HP’s Multi-Display Capable technology will also be included in HP’s Slimline and Elite HPE-series desktop PCs.

The latest version of HP TouchSmart software was introduced in September 2010. The desktop is transformed into a personal canvas featuring multilayered wallpapers with this software. Users are able to easily locate applications and content with the software’s new “Carousel” design.
