DevExpress Unveils DXperience v2010 Vol 2

DevExpress, a provider of .NET (News - Alert) control suites and tools, announced the release of DXperience v2010 vol 2.

The company offers high quality prebuilt controls for ASP.NET, WinForms, WPF, and Silverlight as well as IDE productivity tools and business application frameworks. Its technologies helps in building complex software with greater clarity, thereby increasing productivity and enabling to create stunning applications for Windows and Web quickly.

DXperience is a subscription service that offers ASP.net-AJAX controls, reporting and object-relational mapping “ORM” on a single platform. It is a unique subscription service and a convenient way to access the most recent versions of the company’s tools.

The DXperience subscriptions provide users with a 12-month window during which all new product releases of the company are sent to the user automatically.

The service includes new products, product upgrades (major and minor), products currently being shipped, as well as access to all betas in active development.

There are different editions of DXperience, namely Universal, Enterprise, WinForms, ASP.NET, WPF, and Silverlikght. Users can choose the DXperience edition that brings the most value to their .NET applications.

The latest version, DXperience v2010 vol 2, is a feature-complete ASP.NET presentation controls and reporting for Visual Studio .NET.

With this release, the company has added numerous new WPF and Silverlight controls along with extended features and capabilities across the entire product line. Some of the controls include new DXGrid for Silverlight, new DXCharts for Silverlight, new DXRibbon for Silverlight, new DXScheduler for WPF, new DXRichEdit for WPF, new DXSpellChecker for WPF, new MVC extensions, MDI (News - Alert) end-user report designer, Instant Feedback UI in XtraGrid, and more.

The DXperience v2010 vol 1, the previous version to the latest release, had included Report Viewer for WPF, full Visual Studio 2010 support, built-in filter editor, design-time enhancements, hit-testing support, and much more.

In the latest release of DXperience, DXperience v2010 vol 2, the company has augmented the capabilities of its controls and libraries for Visual Studio developers.

The updated ASP.NET HTML Editor includes image selector, content validation, full-screen mode, custom toolbar items, and custom dialogs.

The updated ASP.NET Charting Control includes extended pivot grid integration for improved analytics, date-time scale / custom week, new technical indicators, and extended chart inactivity.

The updated ASP.NET pivot grid control includes filtering and sorting via customization form, MS Excel style customization form, improved filtering options, and column and row header customization.
