Cisco Recognizes ShoreGroup's Private Cloud Platform, vBrick Reference Architecture

The Cisco (News - Alert) Solution Incentive Program (SIP) has accepted ShoreGroup’s vBrick Reference Architecture which is a fully managed “private cloud” solution for the mid-enterprise market segment. As the leading provider of premier systems management solutions and IT professional services, ShoreGroup’s (News - Alert) vBrick platform encompasses Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) servers, Cisco Networking, EMC Storage, VMware vSphere operating system as well as ShoreGroup's award-winning CaseSentry Application Management Platform and ShorePatrol Remote Management Service.

ShoreGroup has engineered a fully managed, integrated and unique “private cloud” offering by combining the VCE data center product along with the CaseSentry Application Management Platform and ShorePatrol Remote Management Service solutions. The unique offering helps organizations simplify day-to-day monitoring and management of applications, data, infrastructure, and service level agreements. Moreover, CaseSentry platform efficiently manages large converged networks with its advanced capability to correlate complex events across disparate platforms, devices and applications and hence is trusted my most service providers and enterprises.

In a release, Robert Owen, ShoreGroup's data center practice manager said that, “While a well designed 'private cloud' computing platform provides more flexibility than dedicated servers allowing for dynamic provisioning of IT services in hours and minutes instead of months, it does require constant real-time monitoring of servers, storage, memory and network resources to allow for quick and accurate diagnosis of problems. As infrastructure and virtualization technologies continue to rapidly evolve, data centers no longer will be able to handle unexpected spikes in demand or easily absorb problems that may arise.” Robert further added that data centers can take advantage of the added visibility provided by ShoreGroup's CaseSentry Application Management Platform to seamlessly adapt to constantly changing business needs for storage capacity, network bandwidth, and I/O connectivity while also providing proactive responses.

Currently, ShoreGroup’s vBrick Reference Architecture including CaseSentry and ShorePatrol has been deployed across a number of customer production environment. ShoreGroup leverages its dynamic CaseSentry platform to develop innovative management applications thus eliminating the pitfalls of traditional management systems. These solutions enable IT, telecom and contact center support organizations to easily and effectively manage availability, performance, service levels and support processes for complex networked environments. High-quality Unified Communications (News - Alert) monitoring, maintenance and support is delivered by company's ShorePatrol Remote Management service, thus ensuring availability of vital business processes to major organizations.
