Two Innovative IT Organizations Merge Operations to Provide Advanced Telecom Services

Two Innovative IT organizations – NISC (News - Alert) and Computer Systems L.L.C., have decided to bring their strengths together, and effective November 1, 2010, the latter has agreed to merge its operations with NISC.

NISC, an information technology company that develops and supports software and hardware solutions, currently provides IT services to more than 165 independent telecommunications companies and more than 420 rural electric cooperatives and municipal utilities in 47 states, American Samoa and Canada. CSLLC provides services to 54 telecommunications companies in 12 states.

Computer Systems L.L.C. is a data processing service bureau owned by telecommunications companies.

Commenting on the relationship between the two companies, Vern Dosch, NISC's President and CEO, said that the common goals that they shared in terms of dedication and commitment value, would make the transition seamless and smooth. In its previous association with CSLLC, NISC had not been disappointed with the way things had been achieved, and the 40 years or more of innovation and service that CSLLC had, was the foundation of the association.

According to Dosch, current Computer Systems customers will continue to have their current software maintained through the Shawano offices under the same terms.

"Merging our resources and our 41 years of experience into NISC with its 46 years of experience is a very positive and powerful event for our current customers and telecommunications organizations looking for advanced software and IT services," said Schroll, and further added that together they had between them almost 90 years of innovation and technology to bring to the telecom industry.

NISC provides a comprehensive suite of integrated software solutions to meet the financial, customer care, engineering and operational demands of modern telecommunications systems.
