Cloud.Com to Offer IaaS Solution to HP Customers through AllianceOne Program

It is not easy for the organizations to set up their own cloud infrastructure. Cloud.com has been famously providing the latest and the most advanced software platform to build highly scalable, highly reliable cloud computing environments.

Cloud.com has recently announced a strategic partnership with HP to bring its market leading Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution to HP’s service provider and enterprise customers.

Named, AllianceONE Program, this Cloud.com-HP partnership is designed to benefit the HP customers, who seek to migrate their data to the cloud environment. As a collaborating partner, Cloud.com will integrate, test, and validate CloudStack with HP servers, networking and storage devices. Customers would not require to invest in extra hardware; the migration to cloud will be based on existing tools, infrastructure and architectures.

Cloud.com is slotted to demonstrate CloudStack running on HP servers at Intel (News - Alert) Developer Forum in booth 908, at Moscone Center in San Francisco. Cloud.com will also demonstrate advanced cloud security features in CloudStack 2.0 through incorporated support for Intel's Trusted Execution Technology and Remote Attestation technologies.

“With the HP AllianceONE Program, we are making the benefits of the cloud within a customer's HP environment readily available. We look forward to working with HP to offer complete, highly reliable solutions that help customers leverage their existing HP infrastructure investments to build and manage private and public clouds,” Peder Ulander, chief marketing officer at Cloud.com, said.

The customers need to develop an idea about the Cloud architecture for building and managing of multitier and multitenant cloud computing environments. A reference architecture documenting and delivering all the essential components of multi-tier Cloud environment will be provided by Cloud.com. This will enable customers build, deploy and highly scalable, enterprise-class cloud computing infrastructure.

According to Cloud.com, customers can reduce risk, speed deployment and remove unnecessary costs of their cloud computing environment by selecting Cloud.com CloudStack to use with their HP products as a result of the AllianceONE Program.

In a nutshell, the AllianceONE Program enables independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, developers, and consultants to work collaboratively to effectively address customer needs.
