Novell, a provider of collaboration tools, claimed that it in 2010 it continued momentum and delivered innovation to the collaboration market with the introduction of significant new capabilities for Novell (News 
- Alert) GroupWise, its e-mail and calendaring product, in addition to offering new technologies for enterprise social networking, conferencing, mobility and file management.
In 2011, the company is planning to release its highly anticipated Novell Vibe Cloud, a collaboration product that combines the best of social business and team collaboration solutions and it is claimed to have already garnered more than 10,000 users in less than two months of beta availability.
Novell is acknowledged to have a strong history of solving tough IT problems and it continues this tradition by offering a series of integrated solutions that address multiple facets of the challenges facing the enterprise today—collaboration, intelligent workload management and more, said company officials.

As the market shifts towards real-time collaboration and messaging, we remain committed to helping businesses communicate, share information, and connect in new and exciting ways, both inside and outside the organization."
Novell claimed that its ‘Personal and Team Productivity’ tools leverage younger workers’ interest in using many social collaboration tools in their lives. It offers a comprehensive set of collaboration tools that enable customers to take advantage of the new interactions required to drive business innovation and growth.
Whereas its ‘Collaboration Data Management’ solutions help IT meet the challenge of increasing growth of collaboration data with features to ensure compliance, synchronize collaborative data across applications, and better leverage valuable information by providing users with reliable info when they need it and where they need it.
