Online services like home banking will be accessible to PosteMobile with Oberthur Technologies’ authentic solution. The convenience of the mobile phone is used beneficially by the Smart Authentication solution from Oberthur Technologies in addition to the classic credentials, login and password.
Two possibilities are offered by the authentication solution. In the first case, SMS is used to send a one-time password. In the second possibility, the SIM One Time Password or OTP application is used to securely generate the one-time password by the SIM card itself. The SIM OTP application has been developed by Oberthur Technologies. Every PosteMobile customer is therefore able to connect securely to his personal webpage irrespective of whether the customers is equipped with the latest SIM card application.
