Andrex Selects Safe Technologies' SDS Unit

Andrex Inc., a manufacturer of highly flexible conduit used in marine, aerospace, military, medical, and industrial applications selected Safe Technologies’ SDS suite of services to manage its fast-growing sales operations and critical data storage needs.

Officials with Safe Technologies’ said that Andrex evaluated the pros and cons of enhancing its own system or selecting a cloud system and went with SDS suite of services for the inherent benefits of cloud computing, particularly its quick implementation time and the ability to scale along with the company's rapid growth.

Company officials said that Andrex has deployed the SDS system across all operational segments to automate real-time backup and disaster recovery of complex OS and data environments. The SDS system completely integrates with Andrex's existing systems.

"With clients that include GE, TYCO and the Aerospace Industry, the ultimate security of our data and IT environment is of paramount importance to us and downtime is unthinkable. SDS deployed their solution to Andrex with zero downtime and no hiccups," said Brian Barends, product manager of Andrex Inc., in a statement.

Christopher Kolb, president of Safe Technologies said that Andrex was a perfect candidate for the company’s Data SafeHarbor Live service.

“Our real-time imaging and backup ensure that both their software and data are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Andrex has joined the thousands of companies that manage their critical enterprise needs in the cloud, enabling them to focus on their growth rather than the hardware and software to support it," said Kolb.
