National Online Registries Motor Carrier Information Exchange Website Earns WebAward

National Online Registries, Inc. (NOR)'s website for its Motor Carrier Information Exchange (MCInfo) application, www.mcinfo.org, was honored with an Insurance Standard of Excellence award in the Web Marketing Association's 2019 WebAwards competition.

The WebAwards recognize the standard of excellence for which all websites should strive. MCInfo received high marks from industry experts in seven criteria covering Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of Use.

Using MCInfo, insurers can submit required motor carrier insurance documentation directly to state regulatory agencies online. MCInfo speeds up the insurance submission process and increases transparency by providing visibility and tracking through the approval process.

"MCInfo has gone through an extensive redesign effort to optimize the site and improve the user experience. We are thrilled to see the results of these efforts recognized with a Standard of Excellence award," said Laura Johnson (News - Alert), President of NOR.

Over the last two years, NOR has enhanced MCInfo's look and feel, improved usability to quicken the filing process for insurance users, updated insurance form information to accelerate the review process for states, and upgraded reporting features to make information easier to find. The recent implmentation of an enhanced enrollment interface simplified the process for insurance companies to sign up and begin using MCInfo.

MCInfo users can file 10 insurance forms through the system, including Forms E, H, and K and state-specific insurance forms. NOR added Form F to MCInfo earlier this year and will further expand offerings in the coming months.
