David Callaway, Former U.S. Attorney Criminal Division Chief and Economic Crimes Unit Head for Northern California, Joins Goodwin White Collar Practice in Silicon Valley


Global law firm Goodwin announced today that David Callaway has joined the firm's White Collar Defense practice as a partner in the Silicon Valley office.

Callaway, the former chief of the criminal division and head of the white collar unit at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California, advises clients on a wide range of white collar cases, complex cross-border commercial litigation and internal investigations. During Callaway's nearly 20-year tenure at the U.S. Attorney's office, he also served as chief of the San Jose Branch and as a member the office's computer hacking and intellectual property unit. With over 30 years of criminal law and trial practice, including stints with the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office and U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, Callaway has handled federal, state and military criminal cases related to economic crime and securities fraud, national security, public corruption, cybercrime, trade secret, OFAC and export enforcement, and money launderig, and tried over 40 cases to verdict.
