Redwood Software Announces Release of New Redwood Robotics™ Solution, Performing the Work of 1,650 Humans or More in a Day

Redwood Software, the pioneer behind 'The Robotic Enterprise', today announced the launch of its latest Redwood Robotics™ solution, an evolution of its existing technology that taps into its comprehensive catalogue of more than 35,000 plug-and-play robots. The updated offering includes a wealth of new features, as well as a revamped interface, all designed to simplify the creation and management of scalable robotic processes.

The new release marks 25 years of Redwood leading the automation and robotics conversation and builds on the organization's existing capabilities. Expanding on Redwood's strong process-centric heritage and specialism in finance, the Redwood offering now supports wider processes across HR, IT operations, supply chain and others.

Created with customers in mind, and further developed to help businesses stay agile in today's competitive landscape, business users are empowered to define robotic business processes without having to resort to scripting and low-level user interface based manipulation. This allows them to shift the focus from worrying about controllingthe RPA tool, to improving the process and delivering value to the business.

The solution delivers across the whole lifecycle from defining the process, interacting with systems, manipulating and managing data and applying business rules and logic. In addition, it manages the interactions with people whose skill and knowledge is still required and orchestrates this end-to-end across the whole enterprise.

"In the last few years, the robotic process automation market has fallen short on delivering the value promised to businesses. For organizations deploying legacy RPA tools, the gap between hype and reality is becoming painfully evident in the resources needed for maintenance and deployment alone," says Dennis Walsh, President of Americas and APAC at Redwood Software, "Businesses have come to us looking to resolve the issues that first generation RPA cannot cost or time-effectively address.

"With Redwood Robotics, we aim to lead our customers in the evolution towards a fully scalable and operational Robotic Enterprise, driven by streamlined plug-and-play robots, diminishing any need for manual effort from the start. We are breaking through the ROI ceiling that businesses often experience with traditional RPA."

"Redwood's focus is on simplicity and enabling rapid scalability, with new tools being deployed in areas such as visualization, orchestration and preventative analytics. Redwood Robotics is built from the ground up, to support the needs of global organizations looking to deploy RPA at scale," said John O'Brien, Research Director for RPA Customer Experiences at HfS Research.

In November last year, Redwood Software (News - Alert) announced the release of its new Plug & Play robot catalogue for Oracle EBS and PeopleSoft suites, delivering up to 100% automation for organizations while also offering accelerated delivery and greater levels of flexibility. The launch of this new Redwood Robotics solution is the next step in Redwood's wider continued innovation plans.
