Wingify runs its own content delivery network (CDN) with 11 points of presence (POP) around the globe. To ensure the fastest response times for customers, Wingify wanted a DNS solution that would accurately send the user to the closest geolocated CDN POP, which its previous DNS vendor could not guarantee. Proof of concept testing with four vendors showed NS1 to be the clear winner for these reasons:
