Connected solutions for construction The Bosch Central Gateway (News - Alert) (CGW) is the central communication node that acts as a router for in-vehicle communication and through the connectivity control unit (CCU) to the outside. It is the gate for all data coming into the vehicle and is secured through functions such as firewall and intrusion detection. ETAS and ESCRYPT (both parts of the Bosch Group) provide the necessary transmission and encryption technologies that ensure functional safety and data security. The gateway enables secure software updates via the cloud or firmware over the air (FOTA) updates. The Connectivity Control Unit or CCU from Bosch receives and transmits vehicle information via Bluetooth, WiFi, and/or LTE (News - Alert) with a SIM card, enabling remote diagnostics, predictive maintenance and more. The CCU can also be used to determine the vehicle's position using GPS, if desired. Single picture, no blind spots The Bosch Surround View EasyFit enables any vehicle or machine to be equipped with surround view functionality to improve visibility and safety for operators in the working area. The system combines image streams from four cameras and stitches them together in a single 360-degree bird's-eye view picture free from blind spots. With a simple calibration algorithm, the system can be easily integrated into individual vehicles as series or retro-fit equipment.
