CB Technologies, Inc. Raises Record $30K at 13th Annual Charity Golf ClassicKIRKLAND, Wash., Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CB Technologies, Inc. (cbtechinc.com), a woman-owned Solution Provider and Systems Integrator, proudly announced that their 13th Annual Charity Golf Classic raised $30,000 for Uplift Family Services at Hollygrove, earlier this month. Uplift Family Services at Hollygrove is the Los Angeles division of one of California's largest, most comprehensive mental and behavioral health providers. Statewide, the agency serves more than 20,000 children and their family members in more than 30 counties each year. Uplift Family Services' programs are proven to be more effective than the national average in helping children and adolescents overcome complex behavioral health problems and recover from trauma. For youth that exit their programs, over 90% are living in the community, staying in school and remaining out of trouble. Speaking on the success of this year's event, Hollygroves Regional Executive Director, Elena Judd said, "We are so thankful to Kelly Ireland and her entire CBT team and sponsors for once again making Hollygrove the beneficiary of this wonderful tournament. Each year we look forward to being part of this event, which brings together an extraordinarily generous group of folks for a great day of golf and giving." Also thrilled with the record 2016 turnout was CBT CEO, Kelly Ireland. "Hollygrove is a wonderful charity and it's a pleasure to be able to devote a day to support their work with children and families in need," notes Ireland. "I'm immensely proud to say CBT has now raised over $200K in the 13 years we've been supporting Hollygrove. I'd like to thank every player and donor that helped benefit this deserving cause." Proceeds from the tournament support Hollygrove's Endless Summer therapeutic after school program, which serves children ages 6-13 with emotional and behavioral challenges resulting from poverty, abuse and neglect. This highly individualized program creates resiliency, fosters character development and promotes social and academic competence in children who often cannot cope in traditional after school settings.
