Planview Recognizes Carestream, Cisco, Flowserve, Freddie Mac and Mentor Graphics for Excellence in Work and Resource Management

Planview® honored five customers with Vision Awards during its annual Horizons (http://horizons.planview.com/global/) customer conference. The award recognizes organizations that leverage Planview work and resource management solutions to achieve and exceed their goals for strategic planning, portfolio and resource management, work collaboration, and enterprise architecture. The winners of the 2016 Vision Awards are Carestream, Cisco (News - Alert), Flowserve, Freddie Mac, and Mentor Graphics.

Carestream

With Planview Enterprise, Carestream manages portfolios and resources within corporate IT, installation services, and R&D. The company recently moved from an on-premises infrastructure to a hosted, Planview-managed cloud, which reduced internal and support costs while improving the overall user experience for their 1,000 users across 17 time zones.

Cisco

As part of a multi-year effort to transform IT into a services organization, Cisco IT used Troux to unify their technical and business architectures, integrating data and capabilities. As a result, through collaboration with IT, Cisco Advanced Services has created a unique customer facing IT Transformation Journey Map leveraging more than nin years of Cisco IT's Services Journey to address today's challenges such as speed, relevance, cost, security, organizational change management and governance. Flowserve

Planview Enterprise and Projectplace help Flowserve manage work and resources. Planview Enterprise helps management teams optimize Flowserve's R&D, product pipeline, portfolio, resources, and project delivery. A global cross-functional team is using Projectplace to collaborate on improvements to their product development process for new and existing products.

Freddie Mac

Freddie Mac uses Troux and Planview Enterprise to mitigate risk in their global infrastructure, reported as an IT sustainability metric on their corporate scorecard. Using Troux as the application portfolio system of record, Freddie Mac can access aggregated data and technology landscape visualizations to continually prioritize upgrades to current versions of their vendor-supported applications.

Mentor Graphics (News - Alert)

Mentor Graphics is using Projectplace across IT for all projects, combined with Planview Enterprise for prioritization and governance, to ensure IT resources are working on initiatives with the highest strategic value. This combination enabled Mentor Graphics to complete 94 percent of projects on time vs. less than half 18 months ago.
