The new #HRWins research finds that mid-sized companies use nine different HR software applications on average. Perhaps it's no surprise that 24% of respondents cited "lack of integration" as their #1 technology-related pain point, beating out "gaps in automation," "lack of functionality," and "too many systems" as the top reply. Buyers are looking to new core HRIS and payroll systems to solve this problem. When asked where they plan to invest, the top two platforms were payroll (49%) and HRIS (36%). And when asked for their top two buying riteria, the ability to support managers was the top reply, followed by the ability to improve employee productivity.
