Globalstar, Inc. (NYSE: GSAT) announced last week the deployment of its satellite communications solutions to the Louisiana regions most affected by flooding in conjunction with its partner Disaster Tech Lab, a first responder communications specialist.

AT&T, Inc. (NYE: T) has reached agreements for Cuba roaming and direct interconnection with Empresa De Telecomunicaciones De Cuba (ETECSA). The deal continues to enhance AT&T's global coverage for customers - the best of any U.S. wireless provider.1  "Cuba is a growing international calling destination for our customers," said Bill Hague, executive vice president, AT&T Global Connection Management. "With this agreement, AT&T customers soon will be able to seamlessly connect with talk, text and data while visiting Cuba."



JetBlue Airways Corp. (NASDAQ: JBLU) also indicated back in July it will launch commercial flights to Cuba on August 31, 2016. JetBlue said its fares to Cuba offer the same amenities to routes in the Caribbean like - free seat-back entertainment, free Fly-Fi wireless Internet and more.  JBLU closed up slightly on Wednesday at $16.11 (also up slightly in aftermarket trading) trading over 4Million shares by the market close.

Gogo Business Aviation (NASDAQ: GOGO), a leader in connected airplanes, has embarked on an initiative to enable operators, dealers and installers to equip their aircraft with approved routers from third-party manufacturers that best suit their individual needs and preferences on the Gogo Biz network. The move is part of a larger initiative to provide a more open ecosystem, enabling a wider array of router options for customers to choose from.  "Gogo is at the forefront of the aircraft connectivity space, and with many aircraft-approved routers now available in the marketplace, we have created a process to offer our customers additional options - giving them the power to select a router that meets their specific needs," said Sergio Aguirre, senior vice president of product management and business development for Gogo.
