D-Link Introduces New IP Surveillance Cameras with Versatile Professional FeaturesFOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- D-Link® today announced two new HD IP cameras, expanding its popular line of professional IP surveillance and security solutions – the Full HD Outdoor PoE Mini Dome Camera (DCS-6212L) and the HD Covert Network Camera (DCS-1201). The new HD cameras offer advanced security features, including Power over Ethernet (PoE), HD resolution, local recording, and a complete surveillance software package that allows users to view, manage and record from up to 32 cameras on a single computer. The Full HD Outdoor PoE Mini Dome Camera (DCS-6212L) features industry-leading Full HD 1080p, 2 megapixel resolution and H.264 compression that delivers high-quality, detailed video recording and 30 feet of night vision. Weather and vandal-proof housing ensure durable protection against impacts and the elements, making it ideal for monitoring outdoor environments. In addition, the DCS-6212L is mydlink® enabled, allowing users to access and configure the camera remotely via the mydlink website and view live video on iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows phones. With a versatile, compact form factor, the HD Covert Network Camera (DCS-1201) provides a robust solution to discreetly monitor an area. The camera's small size and generous 50 foot cable allows users to place the DCS-1201 in a far corner of a room or use discreet pinhole installation, even without a power outlet nearby. Additionally, ePTz allows users to zoom in, zoom out, and pan video views for surveillance in large areas. Featuring motion and tamper detection, the DCS-1201 can easily be installed in walls, ceilings, or in tight corners, making it an ideal solution for ATMs, elevators, police stations, mass transit, and other applications where a hidden1 or small camera is required.
