ZeroStack Named to the Big 50-2016, Startup50.com's Report on the Top Startups in Tech

ZeroStack, a one-stop shop for infrastructure that combines the consumption model of public cloud with the security needs of businesses, today announced that it has been named to Startup50's Big 50-2016 report, Jeff Vance's annual roundup of the 50 top tech startups to watch in the coming year. Jeff Vance founded Startup50 in 2013 to come up with a process, one featuring rigorous competitions and challenges that would strip away the spin and force startups to focus on what really matters: real people and the real-world problems they're struggling to overcome. In being named to the Startup50 Big 50-2016 report, ZeroStack surpassed hundreds of other companies to achieve a place on this elite list.

"Being named a top 50 startup underscores our unique value as a company that delivers the user experience of public cloud with the security and control of private cloud," said Ajay Gulati, president and CEO of ZeroStack. "ZeroStack eliminates the need for IT cloud operations, and in doing so makes it possible for every enterprise to have its own cloud."

To earn a spot in the Big 50, startups must complete a series of exhaustive questionnaires, build a following through online voting and demonstrateviability through a series of tests. In all, more than 210 startups applied to be considered for the Big 50-2016.

"This year's Big 50 represents the cream of the crop in technology startups," said Jeff Vance, founder and editor in chief of Startup50. "I expect that several of them will go on to have the same market and financial success as some of the companies on our previous lists."
