James R. Voigt Accepts Position on energybank Advisory Board

Voigt spent 30 years involved in electronics and international business as President of K.W. Muth Corporation, Founder of Oneida Nation Electronic Corporation, CEO of InnoSoft, and President/Founder of American Innoation, among others. Voigt holds several patents for his inventions, including those used by Muth Mirror Systems and Kohler Co. In 1986, he was appointed to the US/USSR Economic and Trade Council.



Voigt received his B.S. in Applied Engineering and Science with Electronic option from University of Wisconsin. Notably, he founded and supervised the electronics group for the Kohler Company and was granted two patents covering state-of-the-art generator control products. He started Innovation Computer Corporation (ICC). ICC received one of the first licenses for Microsoft DOS from Bill Gates and designed and produced industrial level computers for the Russian space station MIR. Voigt invented a color card for the IBM PC computer and the first soundboard for the IBM PC.

Voigt is a member of numerous professional associations including Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), American Society of Inventors (ASI), Wisconsin Space Business Roundtable (WSBR), and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
