HEAT Software Releases Enhanced HEAT Endpoint Management and Security Suite 8.4


HEAT Software, a leading provider of Cloud Service Management and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) software solutions, today announced the release of HEAT Endpoint Management and Security Suite (EMSS) 8.4. This exciting release adds new features and functionality to ease the process of managing quarantined files, simplify the authorization of new or blocked applications, and facilitate the integration to third-party systems.

HEAT EMSS is ideal for businesses that seek greater security, improved visibility and increased operational efficiencies. The suite provides defense-in-depth endpoint security, simplified endpoint management, and reduced endpoint total cost of ownership, while offering added protection against targeted attacks.

HEAT EMSS 8.4 provides improved manageability with the Centralized Quarantine feature, which greatl simplifies the process of managing quarantined files with Delete and Restore buttons. New features also include Targeted Application Control Scan, which provides administrators with a quick and reliable mechanism to authorize new or blocked applications.



Another important customer requested feature is Endpoint Display Name which gives users a way to assign a friendly-name to an endpoint so it can be easily identified with up to 50 characters of information. Also included is integration to third-party systems via the Group Management API. This enables users to automatically populate groups and endpoint memberships from third-party systems to maintain synchronization and facilitate workflow automation.
